What we process and why

When you send us a message

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use this only to answer you and to follow up on your question.

  • Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering questions (GDPR art. 6.1 b and f).
  • Retention: we keep your message as long as needed to handle it, and at the latest 2 years after our last contact, unless it leads to an order or agreement. In that case we keep it as long as the law requires for that agreement.

When you visit the website

Like every web server, our hosting server automatically logs technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referring page. We use these logs only to keep the website secure and working.

  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website (GDPR art. 6.1 f).
  • Retention: server logs are kept for a short period only and are then deleted automatically.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies and does not track you. There are no analytics, advertising or social media scripts. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to font services.

Who receives your data

  • Our hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) stores the website and processes the server logs on our behalf, within the European Union.
  • Messages from the contact form are sent by our web server to our company mailbox.

We never sell your data and do not share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Send your request to contact@pegasus-photo.com. We answer within one month.

If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, Drukpersstraat 35 / rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes

We update this statement when our website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
